Ellavation Affirmation
I’ve got this! I am capable! Talking to yourself like this may feel strange at first, but it can make a huge difference in your mental health.
If you guys have been following my blog, then you would know that I use affirmations all the time. I try to incorporate positive self talk into my daily routine because I think it is so important. Not only does this build confidence, but it also helps manifest your goals and desires. The more times you repeat an affirmation, the more you start to believe it and then it becomes your truth.
Affirmations can be anything, and they also will differ from person to person. To find the affirmation that is right for you, you need to figure out what you need in that moment. Another important thing to note is that your affirmations can change over time. You can change them daily, weekly, monthly, etc. For the affirmation to truly sink in, repeat the sentences for 3-5 minutes. According to one website, it takes around 22 days for your affirmation to work, if you are repeating it daily.
Affirmations can help release stress and anxiety and cure self-sabotaging. They can help to reprogram your mind and trick yourself into believing the things you are saying. This leads to you manifesting and creating the life you have always dreamed of.
As some of you may already know, when you write something down or say something out loud, it sticks with you. The same is true when writing and saying your affirmations. Instead of just thinking them, say them or write them or both!
Personal experience: Yoga has helped me introduce positive sentences into my life. After I found out what affirmations were, I started to use them more and more and now I couldn’t imagine my life without them. My confidence has skyrocketed, my love for myself has grown, and I have become more proud of myself then ever. Affirmations allow me to recognize how capable and worthy I am. Before this, I never really recognized the work that I was doing and how much I was doing. With that, I wasn’t allowing myself to be proud of the work I was putting in. I went straight from just one task, onto the next task. Now, positive affirmations help me acknowledge how proud I am of myself.
Examples:
I am beautiful, I am loved. I am strong, I am smart. I am worthy, I am capable.
I am proud. I can accomplish anything.I forgive myself for not being perfect. I am human.
I am doing my best, I am in charge of my happiness. I willingly accept challenges, I can do anything.
I am grateful for every day, I am blessed. I am healthy, I am my own superhero.
I accept myself, I do not need validation from others. I am my own person, I am special.
I am at peace, I let go of worry. I will not allow my fears to get in the way of my goals.
I allow myself to flourish, everything I need is within me. I feel alive and wonderful, I attract positive people.
